I applied online in the end of June 2016 and took a video interview the following week and was invited to a F2F interview in the beginning of August. The HR personnel and FA's at the interview were all very friendly and down to earth and they all understand that you are nervous and do their best to make it very enjoyable. There will be a group interview portion where you recite the PA announcement you have to memorize and then answer a random question that will be on a card under your seat. After all groups are gone you will all wait outside the room while they decide who stays and who goes. I was chosen for the 1:1 portion and was interviewed by Alex and it was one the most easy-going interviews I've ever had it was like talking to a friend. Him and everyone else were great it was by far the best interviewing method I've gone through as far as FA interviews. I got the CJO a couple days later via phone call and went off to training a couple months later.

My interview experience with Allegiant was notably casual and laid-back. Unlike traditional, conservative airlines, Allegiant maintains a relaxed and adaptable environment. I observed that several candidates had previously been unsuccessful in their applications to major airlines. Regrettably, some attendees were unprepared, poorly dressed, and displayed inadequate grooming; some also used coarse language. This was disheartening, and I was eager to depart. If you are looking for a conventional, sophisticated flight attendant role, Allegiant may not be the ideal choice.
