Four interviews and a phone screen, 2+ month process. Phone Screen: A scheduled 15 minute screen where the interviewer was 5 minutes late and interrupted and cut me off during my answers. Hiring Manger One on One: A 60 minute one on one interview with the hiring manager where they mostly asked behavioral questions. Very few technical questions were asked through the entire interview process. Some high level questions about marketing in general such as the ways the metrics that email marketing can track. Panel 1: A 60 minute panel interview with the hiring manger and additional team members. Some of the more "unique" questions were asked from the first interview which seemed unusual and disorganized. Mostly behavioral questions or about experience with previous projects. Panel 2: A 30 minute panel with two interviewers that were tangentially related to the role. Again, mostly behavioral questions with a few about my experience with Python. Fairly casual where one of the interviewers never turned their camera on. Panel 3: A 30 minute panel interview with other employees tangentially related to the role. More behavioral questions about team work and communication, no technical questions. Overall it was a long, drawn out process where almost no technical questions were asked at all which is highly unusual for a role that requires technical skills. Seeing as the process took over two months and four interviews for an entry level role, Allegiant came off as disjointed and unsure what they were looking for. The general vibe I got was that they were looking for someone who was willing to learn the role on a day to day to basis and not necessarily someone with 5+ years of experience, however despite all of their positive reactions to my goals, work style, ability to perform the role, possessing skills that they noted the team was still trying to learn internally, etc, I was not offered the role.
