I first filled out an application online. Then was given a link to do a video interview. I was then invited to an interview session and chose PIE airport. It was pretty much as others have described on this forum. You arrived in a large conference room where you socialized until the session began. There were about 40 of us. Then a presentation was given as far as the history of the company, philosophy, and details about being a flight attendant. That was very inspiring. After that we were divided into 2 groups. You then stood up and stated your name, number (which you were given upon sign in) and base preference. Then you were to recite the announcement you were told to memorize. We then paired with another person and were given a scenario on an index card. You were to discuss it and then present your solution to the group. After that, you picked up another card with an Allegiant core value written on it. You were to read the first 2 sentences then tell the group what it meant to you. After than we went out in the hall and some names were called. Those people were told they were done with the process and dismissed (not in front of everyone, though). Here are some comments about the people that were cut: they blew the PA announcement, did not follow directions, talked too much, were very shy or were dressed inappropriately. It's amazing how some people were dressed! This is a business meeting and is not the time to be trendy, casual or sexy! After that everyone else was told they had f2f interviews. The f2f consisted of 6 questions, mainly about scenarios in your past work experiences and how you handled them. After that some were given drug tests and finger print cards with instructions and some were not. As far as I know, no CJOs were given, but all were told we would know within a week. Here are some more comments: the recruiters were very professional and polite. They did their best to make you feel comfortable. The room was very warm and noisy and not very comfortable. Suggestions: Be on time. The doors shut right when the session is scheduled to begin and latecomers are not allowed in. Smile at everyone and be positive. Don't ask stupid questions just to get noticed. Don't ramble on and on when answering a question. Use the STAR method. Dress appropriately. If you don't get picked, don't take it too personally. You can apply agin in 6 months. Get the book, The Essential Guide to becoming a Flight Attendant, by KIki Ward and learn from your mistakes. All in all a good experience.
