I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Allegiant Air (Orlando, FL) in Dec 2015
Interview
I applied online and was invited to do a video interview shortly after. The question weren't too taxing and they allow you to attempt the questions 2x, most video interviews don't allow that. A few weeks later, I was invited to a group interview at the local airport in the area and you are given a few lines to have memorized before arrival. The interview process that day was very smooth. The staff was friendly. the session was timely, and I was impressed with the company overall. During the group interview, you recite your script, and you work on a scenario in pairs i.e. how would you respond if a customer was having a hard time dealing w/turbulence. The 2nd portion of the group process is taking one of allegiants core values and relating that to your daily life, past job etc. I received flexibility. After that is the 1st cut.
The staff will call people into a room and those folks are the 1st cut. The remaining people move onto 1-on-1 interviews. Again, the staff will make you feel at home so 1-on-1s are almost like a informal conversation. They ask several questions about past work experience and have you fill out and sign forms for backgrounds and fingerprint checks. They let you know the final decision after a week of deliberation. I'm still awaiting a call as I type so good luck to you all!

Question 1
Name a time when you need to get a group of people to cooperate. How did you do that and what were the results?
My interview experience with Allegiant was notably casual and laid-back. Unlike traditional, conservative airlines, Allegiant maintains a relaxed and adaptable environment. I observed that several candidates had previously been unsuccessful in their applications to major airlines. Regrettably, some attendees were unprepared, poorly dressed, and displayed inadequate grooming; some also used coarse language. This was disheartening, and I was eager to depart. If you are looking for a conventional, sophisticated flight attendant role, Allegiant may not be the ideal choice.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Allegiant Air (Allentown, PA) in Oct 2024
Interview
Interview consisted of a group information session about the job, pay, ect. After that we were spilt into smaller groups and we answered a question, recited the announcement they gave up to memorize prior to the interview, and then we completed a group activity. After that those who got to the 1-on-1 interview stage sat in the jumpseat to make sure we could buckle in, and then interviewed with one of the recruiters.
