Allegiant Air interview questions

April 19/2018 - Submitted online application July 20/2018- Received email to have an assessment done July 26/2018- Thank you email for completing the assessment July 28/2018- Invite for a video interview August 6/2018- Congratulations email/ Schedule F2F August 30/2018- F2F interview September 1- Email requesting references September 1- Received called and CJO September 5- Received call and email with an official letter The video interview was kind of weird however you are given multiple attempts to practice which helps in calming your nerves. Great thing is that you can choose to re-record your responses before submitting, therefore, you get enough chances to get it right. I do not remember how many questions but nothing difficult just situational questions that should be answered in the STAR method. The questions are all on Glassdoor so, practice, be yourself, don't sound routine and let your personality shine through. They are not looking for perfect answers, so it's okay if you stumble. The F2F interview was a bit nerve wrecking, however, mingle and get to know the other applicants for it helps to make you feel more at ease. The recruiters which are also flight attendants, mingled with us before the interview process began. We got a chance to ask questions, got insights into their daily life, friendly conversation. At the group interview, the lead recruiter spoke about Allegiant Air, she did not sugar coat anything and is honest and opened. The other recruiters also spoke, talked about seniority and balancing personal life with flying, they are super friendly. There were 12 of us so thankfully it was a very small bunch, we were slipt into two groups of 6 and were all in the same room. Despite being in the same room with the other group I was not distracted all because I remained focused. So just be focussed and get it done. Group interview went by quicker than I anticipated, we had to introduce ourselves, say our name and recite the "Ladies and Gentleman announcement which is emailed to you upon scheduling F2F. Secondly, we were paired and did a simple group activity. Afterward, each person was given a core value and had to explain how this core value applies to your everyday life. The recruiters thanked us and gave a motivational speech, which was nice. We were then dismissed and asked to wait a couple minutes outside the room, about 10 minutes one of the recruiters came out called a couple names, I was nervous because my name was not called so I did not know what to think. Then another recruiter came out and said if your name wasn't called please hang around. Yayyyyyyyy I made it through. The one on one interview was very relaxing, felt like I was speaking to a friend, situational questions regarding work. Always answer in the S.T.A.R format, be polite, smile, honest, be yourself. Then I was told that I did great and should hear from the hiring Dept within a week. Overall the experience was an exciting one, the recruiters all have amazing personalities, very welcoming and I am so ready to be part of Allegiant and is starting training this month.
