Ally.io interview questions

Initial round with the hiring manager . Nothing was clearly communicated about what exactly they require or what they want me to improve on. Hiring manager was very happy with how things went and all of a sudden they send an email that they are moving on . No proper Followup to inform if something went wrong. Worse thing is that the hiring manager was a sales guy and not some one from customer success to judge that well.

I completed 2 rounds. The first was coding and I did not do that efficiently. Surprisingly they wanted me to proceed for the next round. The next round was conducted by a far less experienced person who clearly had not much experience around designing systems. They did not know about tradeoffs for the scenarios. Towards the end of the interview , they started about conditions they did not state before. The interviewer was not very clear on what they wanted.
