Submit online application, take assessment. If you pass online assessment, they will call you in to the office, only to take the exact same assessment that you have already took and had to pass in order to get the call. You will then be given a 16 question IT test. If you pass that, you will be given the job offer paperwork. You will also be informed that even though you are signing the paperwork, you have to interview 4 more times with different levels of management. If you pass all of that, you will then complete the onsite drug test and background check.
I can not comment or respond on the interview or questions due to me leaving as soon as I saw the pay rate. It's funny because the "recruiter" was very talkative and interested in me UNTIL I questioned her about the rate of pay. She stated that she did not have the authority to negotiate, everyone starts at that pay. While I understand that, $8/hour is only gas money, and for God's sake, don't have a commute involved. As she walked me out, I attempted to make conversation and instead she stopped to talk with the workers on the floor, like I wasn't even walking beside her. I could tell she was not a happy camper about me declining.
This may be a great job for a teenager fresh out of high school, but a person with a family can not live off of that. Yes, I was very grateful for the offer, but again $8/hr. I'm not saying I need to have $30-$40/hr, but again, at least "try" to base rate of pay off of experience and/or education. This experience led me to believe, as someone else stated in a review, they were just looking for someone with a pulse.
Increase the pay rate and you may get actual QUALIFIED employees that will stay!!!!
