I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Jan 2023
Interview
The entire process took months.. which I think is crazy for an entry level sales role! They make you go through so much training, you might as well pay us for it. I’m a college senior about to graduate, who has the time or energy to spend hours upon hours watching videos and attending virtual prep sessions? All of this and possibly not even get hired hahaha. Lucky for me I continued my job search while waiting to finish the several rounds of interviews at AlphaSights. I received an offer letter from another company paying $75k as an entry level associate right before I did my last interview with AlphaSights. I accepted the offer so quickly and withdrew my application from AlphaSights! I’m so much happier with my current position and the pay is just as competitive and the entire process was way less stressful. I truly feel bad for the people who work at AlphaSights and the young graduates interviewing. The interview questions are very basic as long as you attend all the info sessions and do your homework, but definitely not worth all the stress.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Mar 2025
Interview
The first call was straightforward, your standard interview questions. I did not want the job so I did not prepare very well. If I had prepared, it would have been a good interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at AlphaSights (London, England)
Interview
An online interview, followed by an assessment centre in their London office. The assessment centre was with about 12 other candidates, however they conduct many of them. The process took about 4 weeks.
The first is with HR then they give you a case study to work on and present at your 2nd interview. They also do mock calls in your 2nd interview. Then the third interview (if you make it) is a behavioral discussion.
