First step was a standard phone screening with a recruiter with the generic "tell me about you/yourself" style conversation and general info about the position. All went well as far as I could tell and thee recruiter told me she would have updates to the interview timeline by the end of the week which never came. I made multiple follow ups on the status which were acknowledge with "thanks for checking in we'll get back to you" each and every time which never happened. It wasn't until I checked the application portal a couple weeks later that I saw I had not been selected to move forward.
