Applied to Analyst role at A&M. Initial stage included a 20-25min phone interview with HR member. Questions centred around: a) What I know of A&M; b) previous experinces; c) why I was interested in joining. This stage was relaxed. After the phone interview, I had to do 4 online SHL tests: numerical / reasoning / excel / powerpoint. It is easy to find prep test questions online for the numberical and reasoning tests. The excel and powerpoint tests were hard as it was all theory - you had to answer multiple choice questions regarding these applications (and some functionality that no one really uses in day to day work). Final stage was a case study interview with a Director as well as a short fit interview. The fit interview is very standard again: why A&M / why this role / what challege are you lookig for. The techincal case study was a tough one. You are given a ton of information on a company and asked to prepare a short 4 slide powerpoint answering questions on current status of company / risks / new challenges etc. First skill is to find only relevant information. It is also critical to have knowledge of financials (e.g. reading income statements etc) as a major part of the case is based on presenting KPIs on these. You are given 40-45min to prepare a deck and then present back to Director and also be able to defend your view.
