I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Alvarez & Marsal (New York, NY) in Mar 2021
Interview
I applied online and a recruiter reached out to me a few weeks later via LinkedIn. After a screening call, I was set up for 4 interviews with senior managers and directors within the PEPI group. Due to COVID, all 4 interviews were virtual and only one was a video interview. The video interview was a case study which they provide ahead of time. This will demonstrate basic ability to do the work and how you would present to a client. The other 3 interviews were mostly behavioral and resume review with a few technical questions. Normally, you'd move on to a "super day" of final interviews but due to the pandemic, I had one final interview with the Managing Director of the team. This was more of a final check for fit - nothing difficult. I was given an offer shortly after. Overall it was an efficient process.
I had a phone screen, then four interviews with team members, then a take home case study, then two more interviews with team members (MDs). After all that, I got an offer.
