I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Alvarez & Marsal (Mumbai) in Oct 2023
Interview
So I applied for Analyst - Transaction Advisory Group on 12 October 2023 and got a call from HR after 2 days asking current experience why job change etc then she arranged the 1st round of interview with senior vice President, it was fit round and he only asked behavioural questions. 2nd round was Excel case study where they invited all 6 candidates in one zoom call and asked to solve case study on online call. There were 2 cases one was consolidation of worksheets, data cleansing and presentation of data (which required Power query, vlookup, pivot table, sumifs and countifs). Second case study was preparation of mock P&L. 3rd round was with senior director who is leading FDD domain for BFSI sector. Even he asked only behavioural question and my daily office routine/work. So only the 2nd round was technical and rest were only behavioural and fit round. Whole process took almost 3 weeks.
