I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Alvarez & Marsal
Interview
A&M reached out to me. I was interviewing with three other companies at the time, the level was a step down and the pay was much lower, but I was eager to find something new so I proceeded. The recruiter didn’t prepare me properly for my interviews - I had to ask clarifying questions on who I was interviewing with and their relationship to the role. Despite all that, I got a really good vibe from the three people I interviewed with, so much so, that I was interested in proceeding if given the opportunity. I felt that the interviews went well, but it’s been three weeks and I haven’t heard a thing from the recruiter, good or bad. Very disappointing experience, especially from a firm that prides itself on a culture of family.
