Applied through Amazon Website for a position in Dublin, was contact by the recruiter a few weeks later asking for schedule for the first phone interview.
The first phone interview was all technical and Amazon Chime (Great audio quality!) was used, a Windows Cloud Support Engineer interviewed me and all the questions were strictly related to Windows services, roles and troubleshooting skills. Some questions were like: "What would you do if the XXXX error message happened?", "What are the types of DNS records?", and so on. This interview had the length of 45 minutes and the questions were non stop!
After a few days I was invited for a second round of interviews, but this time it was on site. On the interview day a lot of interviews were going on. There were 5 rounds of interview with the length is usually 1 hour each with a break after second or third interview. A lot of questions about experience, all of it should be answered using the STAR method, outcomes should be clearly shown. On the technical side, had a lot of questions about networking, Windows and architecture.
The recruiter called 5 working days later with the feedback from the interview. If you get a call don't get excited, they call even if you didn't get an offer.
