Interview
I applied through a staffing agency and the process took 2 3 days - interviewed at Amazon.com in October 2013.
Within 2 days of the initial email contact, I had my first phone interview scheduled and completed. I then moved on onsite interview booked. It was a fairly short interview, I only met with three people however enjoyed my chat with each of them. I would have preferred a bit longer for the interviews so that I had enough time to ask all of the questions I wanted to ask. Within two days of the interview I had an offer, so overall I was pleased with the entire timeline.

Straight to the point. Interviewer has been with Amazon for quite sometime. It baffles me how some Recruiters get jobs at these companies. As a recruiter I could tell right off the bat the interview would end poorly based off the Recruiters tone when he joined.
