I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (New York, NY) in Aug 2022
Interview
Quick phone call with recruiter to make sure I was alive and could complete a sentence. Next I had a 30 call with a manager from a different sector. Then I was invited to loop. Great process but long day.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Munich, Bavaria) in Sep 2024
Interview
sehr nettes und professionelles Gespräch, es wurden interessante und teilweise tiefgründige Fragen gestellt, über die man auch erstmal nachdenken musste. Generell wurde mir sofort das Gefühl gegeben, dass man sich für mich als Person interessiert.

Question 1
Wie meine Laufbahn bei Amazon aussehen soll, wo ich mich hin entwickeln möchte.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Remote) in Oct 2022
Interview
Went through three rounds of interviews. First two were screening interviews with the hiring managers. These interviews were pretty basic... "walk me through your resume" plus 3-4 behavioral questions. The last round was "the loop," which was definitely the hardest part of the process. It consists of 4-5 back-to-back interviews with different people throughout Amazon. It is requested that you try not to repeat behavioral answers, so you need to have 20-25 leadership examples ready to go. The questions themselves were not too difficult. They mainly entailed telling leadership stories that aligned with Amazon's leadership principles. However, the mental toll of 5 hours of interviewing was extremely challenged. My biggest frustration with the process was the lack of follow-up after my loop. I interviewed on a Monday and was told that I would hear back by the end of the week. When I didn't get an answer by Friday, I reached out to the recruiter who said they were still considering my candidacy. I received a call the next Tuesday with the offer. Not a huge deal, but it's a big frustration to be promised an answer by the end of the week and then get no response for 7+ days.
