I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Austin, TX) in Nov 2015
Interview
Spoke with a corporate recruiter and was asked to come onsite for a F2F interview approximately 2 weeks later. When I arrived, I waited 15 mins past the start time as the receptionist could not find the interviewers. In addition, I was asked to arrive 15 mins early to complete some paperwork, which I was never asked to complete. The initial start of the interview process was in complete disarray.
After four 45 min interviews, I was told that I would receive feedback in approximately 1 week. It's been 3 weeks and still no word. I realize that they decided to pass but given that they're a "customer centric company" the lack of feedback after investing 5 hours of my time is the least the company can do. A very unprofessional process and experience.
That said, I would never again consider employment at Amazon given the candidate experience.
4 rounds of interviews that can be split into two days or one consisting of Amazon LP’s and behavioral questions. Star format is huge and don’t repeat example or answers

Question 1
Tell me about a tell you created a niche sourcing strategy to fill a role
Straight to the point. Interviewer has been with Amazon for quite sometime. It baffles me how some Recruiters get jobs at these companies. As a recruiter I could tell right off the bat the interview would end poorly based off the Recruiters tone when he joined.
