I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ameresco (Framingham, MA) in Mar 2017
Interview
I sent in my resume and cover letter and got an email a few weeks later from HR asking to set up a phone interview with them. We had the phone interview less than a week later and mainly were interested in my availability and a bit of my background. They said my resume was very strong. I had an in-person interview about 2 weeks later with one of the heads of solar development and another person in solar policy. I was hired and they have been very flexible with scheduling my work hours around my class schedule and summer internships. I work there during the school year.

Interview
Straightforward. Just questions about past experience. Questions about by references. Turns out they did past employers to learn about me. Asked me what I would do if I didn't know how to do something. I said I would try to figure it out first and than if I needed assistance still I would talk to somebody that knew.
