I applied online. I interviewed at America's Test Kitchen
Interview
Pretty standard. Questions aren't especially complex or unexpected. Brief phone screen followed by a longer interview with multiple people, one at a time. I had to reach out to find out that they'd gone ahead with someone else.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at America's Test Kitchen (Brookline, MA) in Aug 2010
Interview
Applying was fairly painless. I found the posting on a job board and emailed the HR rep directly (the email was posted in the ad). I received an email to setup a time for the interview and met with the hiring manager as well as the executive editor. They were both very friendly, asked relevant questions, and were not at all intimidating.
They did ask me to complete a written assignment, which was fairly involved.
