Just took a video interview today. I had prepared all the answers to the "possibly" questions that I had leaned from here and YouTube videos. It was really REALLY helpful. If you applied for a bilingual flight attendant position, make sure you prepare the answers in your second language too. I was asked a couple of questions that's required to be answered in Japanese, which I honestly didn't prepared well. The questions for the bilingual applicants only are: "tell us about a time when you had to use your second language for customer service", and "tell us about a time when you had a hard time to work as a team". Those two questions needed to be answered in Japanese (for my case). I am a Japan-born Japanese who speaks Japanese as my first language, so it wouldn't have been so difficult to answer if I expected those questions, but when you are asked unexpectedly it's a little hard especially in the language for a "business scene" (lots of languages spoken in Asia have a strict rule for the formal situation, I guess. So does Japanese ). Other things went pretty well. Hope I receive an e-mail for the next step. I choose "yes" to the "Did you get an offer?" question here because they didn't let me submit this without checking one, but I am just hoping it and still in the process. Just wanted to share my VI experience so the other bilingual applicants won't make a same mistake I made.
