Multiple Steps: 1) Application 2) Online Assessment 3) Video Interview 4) In-person interview Up until the in-person interview, the process was generic and uninspired. When I got to the in person interview, that all changed. The interview team was friendly, funny, relaxed, and engaged. They started with a brief presentation and then broke us up into smaller groups. The group interview portion started with 2 interviewers asking the group to all answer the same question, then each person in the group got an individual question. From there we returned to the presentation room and people were pulled out for "Resume Verification." This is where you get sent back to the airport or you get an individual interview. During the individual interview, basic questions about your experience and things like "What is customer service?" I think by this point they know whether or not they want to hire you. The interviewer offered me the job after about 10 minutes of the individual interview. I went from here to do a reach test, sat in a jumpseat, drug test, lots of paperwork, etc. Nothing crazy, but this is the most important part of my review: during the individual interview/pee test/paperwork phase, I met some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. They were truly so kind and so uplifting. When I finished everything and was saying goodbye to one person, the people during this phase were coming out of the wood work to say goodbye and give hugs. They were excited to have me there and made me feel so welcome. While it's a group interview, they made each person feel like they were the only person there that day. I was offered a job with Delta as well, and this experience is the reason why I am happy to say I accepted the American Airlines position.
