I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at American Airlines in Jan 2018
Interview
The interview process with American Airlines has been going faster than what I would have expected. I applied for the position on January 12th and received an invitation for my video interview on January 26. When doing the video interview the instructions stated that I'd be able to re-record if I needed to and send in the one I felt was the best. I completely screwed up on the first 2 questions, stopped in mid sentence on the second question thinking I would be able to start over I didn't worry. Well once I was done, being asked about 6 questions, I received a message that said, "Thank you, your response has been sent."...I was like whaaaaat?! lol No retake option was given. I wanted to be upset and think well you won't be hearing back from them, but I made sure that I remained myself throughout the interview. So I didn't all the way count myself out. I had just got done getting my face to face literally that same day from doing my phone interview with Frontier, and the advice given to me was show your personality, show them you. It must have worked for me because I received a face to face interview invite for American Airlines on February 6th. So I'm assuming they were able to see me still. I made sure to smile throughout the interview regardless. I dressed up with a collared white shirt, black blazer, red lips and nails.
