I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2018
Interview
The interview process is extremely long so be patient. I applied for a position with American Airlines on 9/12/18 on 9/20/18 I was invited to do the one-way interview where you answer questions via WebCam. This was difficult for me because in the past I applied for regional carriers and you were given unlimited times to answer a question and with American you only got one chance you got 30 seconds to look at the question and then it was time to answer. I thought that I did a terrible job because I have studied on glass door made note cards and nothing I studied was asked So I felt like I was caught off guard. On 10/22/18 I was invited to a face to face that was held in Dallas Texas on 11/15/18 the interview was so nice they made you feel so relaxed we did group exercises then were broken into small groups answered a few question then I did my one on one not sure if everyone got a one on one I doubt it. Then after I was told to do a reading test and it turned out to be my invitation to join the family
