      Flight Attendant Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at American Airlines

      Interview

I applied online for the FA position on 10/28. I received an email to complete an online assessment on 10/29, which I submitted that same day. On 11/7, I received an email from AA inviting me to complete another step in the process by doing a video interview, I found the interview to be considerably easy in comparison to the others that I have done. I was asked 6 questions, which you were given time to gather your thoughts before answering and also allowed to view before submitting. (I will list questions below) I finished and submitted my video interview on 11/12. Being patient and waiting for an email/call back is the absolute hardest part of this process, especially if you want this career as bad as I do! I continued to apply and interview with other airlines in the meantime, but on 12/17-- I received my invite for my F2F interview. That was THE best Christmas present I think I have ever gotten in my life. I literally cried tears of joy, while dancing around my living room, and then calling everyone that shares in this journey with me. My F2F is in Dallas, TX on January 21st @ 1PM. I am so excited and nervous, all at the same time! If anyone has their interview the same date/time, I would LOVE to exchange information! My advice to anyone coming into this process--BE patient and don't give up! It will happen. Be yourself during your video interview. Let your passion, genuine self shine. Don't forget to SMILE until it HURTS! (P.S. This is some great advice that has been given to me by FA's that I have met--don't ever say that the reason you want to be a FA is "because you like to travel". It is cliche and definitely shouldn't be the reason you want this career! Thought I'd share.) :)
