      Flight Attendant Interview

      Feb 1, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Dallas, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 3 months. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2019

      Interview

It was the best f2f interview experience and I’ve been on serval within the past months. I flew in and landed at 8:30am and the interview was at 10am. It was a small pool of applicants with only 22 people. We started off with a little tour until we got to the main room. In the main room we filled out a scenario worksheet. It just a time killer though. Some arrived later and asked about the worksheet and the recruiter said don’t worry about it and it was just for fun. We play a game where you guess each others one interesting fact. It doesn’t matter at all if you the lead talker since everyone speaks and basically says their name and one interesting fact. In the game appear to be interesting. Honestly I wasn’t paying close attention but when it came time to guess I contributed a lot of “uh huh” and head nods and no one was more the wiser. In the group interview you are ask 3 questions each. 2 are the same as the other candidates and one you select from a deck of cards. My suggestion is to know what you’re going to say. The night before I went on glassdoor and wrote down my main points to all the questions. When answering the questions don’t ramble, just get your points/examples across. You should be able to answer the question within 3 minutes max. After the group interview we went in the main room for a presentation on pay, training, bases, and things like that. After that they called us one by one to discuss our application. I was called in the room and I had a great conversation and then was offer the job on the spot. It’s reveal in a very cute way that looks like part of the interview. Afterward I did a test to make sure I could touch the bottom of the overhead compartment and I could fit in the jumpseat. Then they took a photo of my passport, got my fingerprints, and did a drug test. After that I was sent on my way.
