I sent in my initial online application on February 2nd and received an email saying I'd advanced on to the video interview on Feb 27th. I had five days to complete the interview. I was able to do a test recording to ensure my laptop was working properly, and then during the real interview a kind automated voice read the questions aloud. I had 60 seconds to prepare a response before I was given 2-3 minutes to respond. Overall, it was a great system! I left my red lipstick at home unfortunately, but I still presented myself professionally with a natural pink lip, blazer, and crisp shirt. And a ponytail, of course! Simple studs, simple necklace, wristwatch, natural eye makeup. Plain background and as quiet as I could find. It takes a bit of effort to prep, but well worth it. I would highly recommend interviewing with American! This is such a positive process. Results TBD!

Applied online took assessment test online one week later received email for a video interview. Taking my video interview today. Any advice from anyone who has gone through the process?!
Video group interview then in person with 40 other applicants. Asked behavioral questions and personality questions. The video interview lasted about 30-45 minutes. Then the in person was a whole day process.
