I applied online. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2020
Interview
I was invited to complete a video interview a few days after I applied which I did horribly on lol I had really put American out of my mind after that even though they were the airline I wanted to work for most, so when I got an invite to a face-to-face I was completely shocked. I flew in the day before the interview (highly recommend). The interview process was just as I had read: a group interview followed by a group activity. I only answered two questions I think in the group interview and made a few errors during the group activity. We then all went back to the main room for a presentation and started getting called one by one for a final resume review and an escort out of the building. 2 hours later, I was called and brought into a different room where I did a reach test and a jump seat test, then into a private face-to-face with two recruiters. Smooth as butter after that. Truly the sweetest recruiters. I really wish COVID hadn't taken this dream job from me.
