I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Family Insurance
Interview
Will never interview with American Family Insurance, again.
Recruiter reached out to me over linkedin. During the initial screening call, the recruiter clarified my open questions. He also mentioned that there is no restrictions on any salary range , specially after knowing what my current compensation was.
During the interview process, I was scheduled and cleared 9 interviewers.. Four of them were scheduled back to back in a day with total 2 hours back to back. As I cleared one level after the other, I was confident and got very positive responses . My last interview was with VP of product and post that Recruiter says "they like you and we will be rolling the offer soon". Few days I didnt get response and one fine day, recruiter reaches out to me and says he goofed up and there is only limited salary range they can offer.
I'm surprised and shocked that this was dawned upon after 9 interviews and specially after talking to leadership. I would never interview with this company. Such a waste of time for both the parties.
Please make sure your recruiter gives our correct information, right before scheduling interviews.
