Met with the District Sales manager. He went over the full job description in detail. Basically, you are able to work in an existing agent's office, learn the business and learn about the company without making an investment into any office space or other buiness expenses. You are paid a flat salary from the company and you split the commisions from sales with the Mentor Agent you are paired up with. Before my intial interview with the District manager, I had to complete a skills assessment in a computer room. It was mostly a personality test from what I remember. If you do accept the position, you are required to attending a two month traning classroom enviroment to learn about the business and the companies products. You are paid during this training.

Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and email. It was a nice message, short, to the point, yet still personal. Followed up as well when I didn’t respond right away. Met with the recruiter initially then an area manager, during that call scheduled another formal interview as well. Given a homework assignment, fill out an application, background study, and that was it. Questions were talk about me, what I was familiar with regarding insurance, describe my average day, how I was connected in the community, what I would do if I was chosen, my network, etc. Good people, very nice conversation.
