First, I was invited to an informational session where various managers spoke about the company, the type of work each role consists of, and their respective teams.
After that, I had a 2-1 with two different managers that lasted about 30 minutes. Once the interview concluded, I was told I'd hear back in about 3 weeks.
It's now been 6 weeks, and I've received no communication regarding the status of my application. When I followed up, I was informed the managers were still deciding. If you're not moving forward with a candidate, fair enough, but don't tell a candidate they'll know in 3 weeks and 6 weeks later still have no update on the hiring process. If you're still deciding, at least reach out to your candidates and update them on the timeline.
All in all, this has been a very poor candidate experience, and lacks transparency which is listed as one of their core values. They don't seem to value the candidate's time, and I definitely won't be applying again. I ended up withdrawing my application. No candidate should be waiting 6 weeks for an update and if they are, the process isn't very efficient.
