American Modern Insurance Product Analyst interview questions

Interview process consisted of an initial phone interview with basic behavioral and experience questions. Then was called in for an in-person interview at the office in Cincinnati. I met with 2 regional managers who asked a mixture of behavioral and experience related questions. This lasted about an hour. After this interview I was not provided any timeline regarding the next steps in the interview process. After a week of no response, I contacted the recruiter for a general follow up inquiry. She also did not provide a timeline going forward. I proceeded to wait for a response with 2 weeks going by and still no response. I sent a second email to the recruiter which resulted in an automated message stating the recruiter is on vacation for 10 days. Again, I waited until after the recruiter returned from vacation, sent an additional email with no response. After another week I sent a 4th email that was finally responded to stating they went with another candidate. While I realize the interview process takes time due to the complexity of decisions, the lack of organization and timelines provided was extremely unprofessional. Furthermore, the recruiter's inability to respond to emails or provide notification of her upcoming vacation was just plain rude. I drove 4 and half hours each way to attend this interview and was treated with such lack of respect during the process I am almost relieved the interview did not result in an offer.
