Initial meeting with lead recruiter, then meetings with the SE Director and RVP of Sales. Then a meeting with another SE. Finally a mock demo where they asked me to demo something I am familiar with. At the end of the process, they completely ghosted me. The recruiter said he wanted to touch base, and then I never heard from them again. After a full week after the "demo", I reached out to withdraw from the process. I found the whole thing very unprofessional, especially since I had taken time off of work to accommodate their meeting times, and spent a lot of effort preparing a demo. When we're dealing with Senior positions and the salaries that come with it, I think a simple touchpoint is professional and expected. Overall, I would not want to work for this company and I am glad I withdrew.
