Prior to scheduling the phone interview all the way till scheduling of the second video interview with another teammate, the liaison was very responsive. Unfortunately, if you are not shortlisted, expect no updates, unless if you reach out to them on your own initiative.
The feedback was generic, just another company that highlights the lack of "technical skills" when nothing about APIs/SDKs were asked. Wondering how companies define "technical skills".
The second interview tests your statistical interpretation skills on an article given beforehand. The interviewer comes across as unprepared unfortunately. Constantly referring to notes and looking down. Constant responses from interviewer are "Hmmm, okay", then moving on to the next question on the list. Interviewer does prompt you to derive at answer that they are looking for, and it appears there's a "model answer" because despite explaining my rationale, the response was again "Hmm, okay" until I provide the "model answer". It doesn't test technical skills, refer to below.
