I did a recruiter screen and was told I’d hear back within a week (which is kind of long for a recruiter screen) but never heard anything. The recruiter also went off camera 5 minutes into our call despite it being a Zoom screener. He took another call halfway through and disappeared for a few minutes. He also gave pretty unconvincing answers to my questions. I asked about opportunities for the product team this year and he just said “levelling up”.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amplitude (San Francisco, CA)

Great recruiting team who were quick to answer questions and move the process along.
Team interviewing was a mixed bag but generally positive. Like every tech company in the bay area, there were too many rounds and big expectations for take home assignment preparation.

Applied via referral. Recruiter reached out pretty quickly and set up a phone screen. Phone screen was very smooth and standard - I thought went well. Didn't hear anything for a while so I followed up. Nothing so I followed up again. And again. Ghosted
