I applied online. I interviewed at Apex Group (Singapore) in Feb 2015
Interview
Was invited through a phone call accompanied by a confirmation email. The interview was scheduled just one day prior to the interview. The office was small located in the bendeemer industrial area. The interviewers were asian expats (COO and CEO), both spoke with a weird accent and i found it alittle difficult understanding the questions posed, especially the "I" accent. The CEO was alittle uptight at first that i wasn't able to answer his questions regarding the fund administration process, because i did not have experience working in this role and capacity. Was asked to stop interrupting him when i was asked to answer his questions. I felt confused at that point of time.
The whole interview was not structured and alot of organization needs to be done. The conference room was messy and alittle dirty in my opinion. Towards the end of the interview, they asked if i had any questions, i did ask a couple of questions like , "What is a typical 1st year successful employee in the role of the fund accountant ?" , "What do a top appraised fund accountant expects to do in order to obtain the performance ?". Both questions were answered by the COO but i felt that my questions were not addressed adequately.
