Apple Administrative Assistant interview questions

Initial communications with recruiter was great. She was very responsive and pleasant to work with. Phone screen with her lasted about 20mins and was a lot easier than I expected for a company like Apple. No tricky questions. Second phone interview was scheduled the next day. At the last moment I was canceled on and rescheduled for another time when I was going on vacation in Vegas. I was trying to be flexible but mind you, it was very hard to find a quiet place to talk that was not in my hotel room full of sleeping friends. I waited 30 mins on the conference rooms floor of the Cosmopolitan and he never called. I turned in early the night before only to get flaked on?! So annoying. I called the recruiter and was rescheduled for a week later. Finally when I had the phone call with the Hiring Manager, it was also a lot easier than I expected. It felt like a conversation than an actual interview. When the call was finished, I was invited for an on-campus interview. Recruiter set me up to come in a few days later for a 4 hour long interview with lunch. On-campus interview was with 2 managers, lunch with the hiring manager, and 1 with another assistant. First interview with a manager was probably what ended up being the reason for not getting me the job. Won't go into details, but the two managers did not have experience interviewing admins and conversation felt forced. They were also pretty awkward. Lunch with the Hiring Manager was good, but he took a personal call in the middle of our lunch. Interview with the other assistant was what an interview with an admin should be. ALL of them kept looking at their phones, by the way. Despite all that, I did feel good about meeting everyone. I sent the recruiter a thank you email and did not hear back. I emailed the recruiter after a week for an update, who responded hours later saying they decided to go with someone else. After all that rudeness BS, dealing with getting twice flaked on, having to reach out with an update rather than being reached out to, and then not getting the job, I would say this interview process was probably the worst I've ever had.

Had a phone interview with recruiter. He then scheduled a phone interview with hiring manager. She told me she was pleased and excited to meet me. She wanted to schedule an in person meeting. She told me the recruiter would be in contact to schedule a date and time. Recruiter didn't contact me until 10 days later (even after attempts to contact). When recruiter finally emailed me back, he told me that he received feedback that they would not be moving forward with my candidacy. (What the heck?!?!) I just feel that even if the candidate is not exactly what you're looking for, don't make comments like "We want to meet you in person" "We will be in contact to schedule a time and date to meet with you"
