It was a 2-stage process: interview followed by a homework assignment to see how well I could deal with a typical task of the position. The interviewers were very down-to-earth.

I had one forty minute phone screening with the general HR recruiter who was very friendly and made me very interested in the role. They told me immediately I'd be receiving a job-specific homework assignment task to be completed and returned in two days. Like many others on here, this was just unpaid work. I was asked to compile lots of information about 6 programs at two colleges to "prove" I can do the job, ok great. I looked into it, 4/6 programs weren't on their website and much of the information could not be found without contacting the college admissions myself. There's no way I'm going to reach out to people to do unpaid work on behalf of a company I don't work for. Terrible way to run a company, makes me think I'd have ended up being overworked and underpaid while in the position as well. They were just asking for unpaid work and I have no doubt I would've been rejected soon after like many others on have been on here. Had I moved on, I then would have had a second interview with team leads.
