ApplyBoard Software Engineer interview questions

The interview process was definitely an interesting one, as pretty much every interaction with them involved some sort of mistake or misstep on their end. I first had a chat with a recruiter, who somehow wasn't able to locate my resume (?). I was then contacted by another person who asked what my availability was for a technical interview the following week. I specifically stated that any day was good *except* for Tuesday and Thursday, and guess what landed in my inbox... a meeting invite for Tuesday. The technical interview was fine, except that I'm not comfortable with pair programming, particularly in such a stressful environment such as an online interview. The interviewer was a young developer who seemed (to me anyway) particularly stressed out. I knew I didn't do all that well, but he was empathetic and nice enough. I received an email shortly thereafter from the original recruiter, who informed me that I was actually interviewed for the wrong role... was originally considering a FE role and not FS. He wanted to know if I wanted to be "retested"? I agreed to that and not surprisingly, never heard back. I'm assuming this is a good reflection of how the company is disorganized in general.

Done in 3 parts, started with a phone screen, then onto one coding exercise a few days later and then a second coding exercise plus a system design question in one session a few days after that. Leetcode style questions and a system design interview. Felt rather dated, questions geared toward getting a predefined answer rather than analyzing applicants.
