I had a phone interview on a Friday , all of it was very boiler plate. They told me multiple times how picky they were. That they only hire like 5% of applicants. Then they stated they would contact me again early the following week with next steps. After three weeks, and two emails from myself reaching out and checking on next steps, they informed me that I was not a good fit for them. The recruiter seemed to pry and when I was asked about my expected salary she responded by saying “well that is not what you’re making now is it?” Which I thought was very unprofessional.
