Typical placement agency procedure; fill out the online app, followed by a phone conversation/screening. Phone conversation usually serves to set the candidates expectations rather high then after a few weeks you figure out that they will never reach out to you about a job - ever. Just say no to agencies as this has been my experience with all of them in multiple job markets!

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Aquent in Sep 2015
Interview
Received a call an hour before the scheduled interview time. I stated how I could not speak at that time and rescheduled for our original scheduled time.
Once she called 10 min late our interview got interrupted by her toddler. I don't know if she was working from home or if the office just allows her to have her kid come over. Regardless, she excused herself and never called back. I had gotten maybe 2 sentences in.
Not really looking for a job, just wanted to write about her lack of professionalism. I like to keep my options open and this is definitely not one of them.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Aquent (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2011
Interview
I did a phone interview with an in-house recruiter that was based in another city. She found my resume on one of the job boards. If she felt I was qualified I would interview with the local Market Manager. I had connections to the local Manager but chose to interview thru the recruiter which in hind-site was a mistake.
