Started with a simple screening with a recruiter over a virtual meeting, then it was followed by technical interview with someone from a product team with standard design process questions, previous experience, etc

All interviews progress through these same stages. Some interviews may look slightly different, depending on the role. Application Review -> Recruiter Phone Call -> Portfolio Deep Dive -> Onsite Interviews -> Hiring Team Review -> Offer Extension

Received an internal referral. Got contacted by recruiter several weeks later when they already had an offer out to a candidate. Call went great and was told if the candidate declined, I'd talk with the hiring manager. Was told I'd receive an update and was ghosted instead. Bad form especially from an internal referral.
