Had a phone interview with HR and then an interview with HR and hiring manager. I was told they would let me know either way in a week at the most. It's been two weeks and absolutely no response. I've sent a polite email after a week, but no response. Point is, if they don't want you, they treat you like dirt.

Everyone was very kind and helpful. Learned alot about SNC Lavalin. My Interview was a phone interview and then a group interview. Interview was very easy but had to pay for parking.

The recruiter set up an interview with the hiring manager within a week. After the interview I got a call from recruiter to start the background check process. Two weeks after the interview recruiter said I still their favourite candidate and will be informed if I got the position in a few days. He insisted the interview went very well. I called up the recruiter in a few days and he said they went with another candidate. Reasons for not giving me the job was I didn’t smile enough and didn’t show enough desperation to get the job. I thanked the recruiter for his feedback and that was it. Maybe the recruiter should think about giving a real reason. For all this while he knew I am back from mat leave and desperate for a job!
