Being placed on the short list is awesome. After two initial emails, the telephone screening interview I had swung in an overwhelmingly positive direction. Thanks goes to the skilled Talent Acquisition professional that took her job seriously enough to make me, the interviewee, feel comfortable while skillfully asking the obligatory laundry-list of questions. I understand that corporations are always short on time but during this 45 minute interview, I was given all the time I needed to answer questions and probe further into corporate culture. Overall, it was an especially good experience in human nature proving that interviews can be conducted without using forceful language or acerbic measures.
