I interviewed for a Proposal Manager position and communicated back and forth for about a month. I was told there would be three positions they were looking to fill and had budgeted for. Eventually, I was offered a position for a completely different role with a salary that was $15K - $20K lower than what we initially spoke about. They changed their tune and said, “it was all they could get approved”. I asked them if I could think about it and sent several follow up questions. They would respond and only answer one of my questions. In addition, they wouldn't even share the job description for the role that they offered me. I responded and let them know that I would not be accepting and felt that they had been very misleading. I never got a response.

Initial phone interview, followed by an interview with the Director of Business Development. They required a Conflict of Interest Disclosure form which took an additional 2 weeks to review, by then they had hired another candidate.
