I applied to the account executive position in December and received an email in January, from a hiring manager asking if I would be interested in a call. I accepted and selected a date/ time which worked. On the day, 1 minute past the scheduled time I receive an email asking if I could push the interview back 15 minutes. I replied to apologise that I couldn’t and asked if we could reschedule. No reply. I chased up and apologised if I caused offence but I had other meetings scheduled. Still no reply. Such a sensitive hiring manager. Emails a minute into a scheduled minute asking to push back and when the reply is non-conforming, their feelings get hurt.

There was one initial interview, before you go on to the next, which is the last one. Of course they’ll just give you the basics of the job to see if you’re a good fit. Then you will have a second round interview to make sure everyone is on the same page and that you align with what they’re looking for.
