i cleared the written test of same previous pattern i.e

1) GD round took nearly about 15 min consisting of 10 candidates per batch where the hr asked us to discuss about metro rail importance in Hyderabad, all of us performed well but hr selected 5 members in total and i was one among them.
2)Technical Round was pretty easier because hr person mainly asked about my major project and little C concepts.results announced and i cleared the 2nd round.
3)HR round just took over 2 min to conclude where she asked about my hobbies,interests and opinion on working in shifts.

Applied online and was invited to first round of telephonic interview (basically talking to their HR personnel). They sent me a schedule without asking my availability nor checking whether I confirmed it. They called at scheduled time regardless and no technical questions were asked.

Horrible interview process. Recruiter calls me and I couldn't understand much of what he was saying so I politely asked him to repeat the question. He then basically told me that I wasn't fit for Syntel and that they would call me if any other positions would open up.
