Just do thoroughly the Agarwal aptitude book and it will be easy to pass the aptitude round. You will get a mail in 5 days if you are selected.Questions are based on Quant, Analytic and verbal. 30 questions in each category so total 90 questions to be answered in 1 hour .So we really get very less time so try to finish the test fast as there are no negative markings.

Applied online and was invited to first round of telephonic interview (basically talking to their HR personnel). They sent me a schedule without asking my availability nor checking whether I confirmed it. They called at scheduled time regardless and no technical questions were asked.

Horrible interview process. Recruiter calls me and I couldn't understand much of what he was saying so I politely asked him to repeat the question. He then basically told me that I wasn't fit for Syntel and that they would call me if any other positions would open up.
