Interview
First part of the interview consists of presenting yourself and your qualifications related to the position you're applying for. In the second part the presenter asks questions related to energy economics. Third part was a short case study. At the end you have the possibility to ask questions.

Energy economics questions: When is Germany planning to be climate neutral? What is the current price for electricity in Germany? What are the three biggest challenges in the German energy market? Which sector is the easiest to be decarbonized? Which is the most difficult to be decarbonized? Case Study: You are alone on an island in the middle of nowhere and have to build up the electricity system. How would you do that? Calculate the levelized cost of electricity for an onshore and offshore wind park.

I went through two rounds of interviews. The entire process was very interactive and you could sense that the interviewers didn't deliberately make things difficult for you. It was a very good experience.

They are only looking for IITians for recruitment. So no matter how well your interview goes they are not going to select you unless you studied in an IIT. They even mention this when they reject you after the interview.
