Interview
Very well organised, all dates schedules, info about level 1, and 2 process were all received by automated emails. I did both stages of the interview and the second one included a case study, where you get to present Aurora's services as if you are having an introductory call with a potential client.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aurora Energy Research in Sep 2025
Interview
Ghosting candidates after interview.
For any interview they ask the candidate to complete tasks which take an entire days time to research. And multiple rounds of hour long interviews. If the candidate invests so much time in the process they deserve to get atleast an email informing that they (Aurora Energy Research) are not moving forward with the candidate.
Ghosting the candidate is very unprofessional.

Interview
Aurora Energy Research has executed the most grossly incompetent hiring move I've ever seen with someone close to me. They started with a brief 30-minute first interview, then invited them to a one-hour second interview loaded with prep work, including a case study and a role play that emphasized the importance of practice. They dedicated a whole week to preparing diligently, only for Aurora to unexpectedly postpone the interview—not just once, but twice! First, they rescheduled it by a week, then by an additional two weeks, just before it was scheduled to happen. To make matters worse, they even had the nerve to send a rejection email while the interview was still up in the air, filling the position with another candidate in the meantime! This situation is an utter mess and clearly demonstrates Aurora's disregard for people's time and effort. They wasted a full four weeks of their life! And if that wasn't bad enough, Aurora didn't even bother to send a response to any emails sent asking for clarification. It's an appalling display of disrespect and negligence.
