I went through two interview rounds after completing my PhD. Overall, the process was positive and professional. First Interview: The first round was focused on general questions such as: - "What do you know about the company?" - "Why do you want to work here?" - "Why this role?" This was followed by a few logical/problem-solving questions. Second Interview: The second round was more role-specific. The interviewers mentioned they had reviewed my CV and the notes from the first interview, which was reassuring and showed they took the process seriously. They provided an overview of the company and the position before asking me to discuss one of my projects in detail. They were especially interested in whether I had worked with stakeholders or if my experience was mainly academic. Other questions included: - My willingness to relocate for a hybrid role. - Role-specific technical/competency questions. - A case study exercise. Both interviews allowed time for me to ask questions, and the overall tone was friendly and engaging. The interviewers were professional, prepared, and genuinely interested in my experience. The process felt fair and structured, with a balance of general, technical, and situational questions. I was invited to a final, in-person interview, but I decided not to proceed since I wasn’t willing to relocate at the time. I felt they were genuinely interested in my profile, and although I can’t be certain, I had the impression they might have extended an offer.
